Lettering Exercises

November 2023

These foundational exercises in kerning, font creation, and font adjustment were core components of my Core I training, and are essential to demonstrating my mastery of fundamental design principles. The initial image in the sequence showcased a variety of font types I developed inspired by others online and subsequently organized based on specific design decisions or shared characteristics in the lettering. Additionally, I worked on a project called SLASH, where I designed an original typeface and transformed it into a fully functional and usable font.

This collection in portfolio showcases my foundational work, highlighting my proficiency in both the "little things" and the more complex aspects of design.

Graphic Logos + Bow To No One Poster

November 2023

I created a series of word art images to showcase my typographic skills and shared them on social media.

I later expanded this project to include poster designs, which allowed me to demonstrate both my 3D rendering abilities and my poster design skills.

What Makes a Design Timeless?

I was assigned a project in my core studio class to create a poster collection based on a research term. This project aimed to enhance our artistic expression and encourage us to discover meaning in our work. I chose the term "timeless" and created a poster that explored this concept.

Make a Day Work Experiment

May 2024

This is a collection of my favorite pieces from my Core Studio II class, where we were given 50 prompts for the semester. We had to choose a daily prompt and create a corresponding art piece to post on our class Instagram by the end of the day. The numbers in the bottom left corner are just for tracking and have no meaning within the piece itself.
